Complimentary within 30 days for lux permanent jewelry. After 30 days, or for jewelry from another studio, re-welds are $25 per link.

Permanent Jewelry FAQ
Does permanent jewelry hurt?
Not at all. The chain is custom fit first, then the final link is welded closed without touching your skin. The weld itself takes just seconds.
Can permanent jewelry be removed?
Yes. Permanent doesn’t mean forever. It simply means there’s no traditional clasp, so the piece stays on until you choose to remove it.
Can I shower, swim, and work out in it?
Yes. Permanent jewelry is designed for everyday wear. We recommend rinsing and drying it after swimming and avoiding anything that could snag or pull on the chain.
Can you re-weld jewelry from another studio?
Usually, yes, as long as the chain is in good condition. Re-welds are $25 per link. Re-sizing is additional.
What if I need an MRI or surgery?
Follow the instructions from your medical provider. Many times it an stay on. If you need to remove your jewelry, use fingernail clippers and cut at the welded link. Save the chain and we can re-weld it afterward.
Can I add a clasp instead of making it permanent?
Absolutely. If you prefer your piece removable, we can add a clasp at your appointment starting at $12. Converting a finished piece later starts around $30 depending on the clasp and any additional work needed.
Can I travel with permanent jewelry
Yes. Permanent jewelry is great for travel, although security personnel can always request additional screening.
How can I remove my permanent Jewelry
Cut the small welded jump ring with scissors or fingernail clippers. Save your chain and we can re-weld it later if you’d like to wear it again.
What happens if my jewelry breaks?
Save all the pieces and bring them in. If the chain is still in good condition, we can usually re-weld it. Lux re-welds are complimentary within 30 days if it breaks at the weld point; after that, re-welds are $25 per link.
